Roseville’s Shankari Nadanachandran has been named NSW Writers’ Fellow for 2018/19, one of five recipients awarded with a Create NSW Artform Fellowship.

Public schools in Davidson will remain hives of activity over the summer holidays, as tradespeople spruce up school grounds while students and teachers are on leave.

Seven preschools in Davidson will be receiving funding for upgrades, thanks to a NSW Government initiative aiming to continually improve the environment of preschool services.

Jonathan O’Dea, Member for Davidson said more than 230 local schools across NSW will make their playgrounds, ovals and sports courts available to the public over the summer school holidays.

More than 300,000 drivers will benefit from hip pocket relief as the NSW Government expands its successful Toll Relief program.

Over the past four years, Davidson electorate constituents have benefitted from over $1.5 billion in NSW Government community support.

In the lead up to summer, Member for Davidson Jonathan O’Dea encouraged everyone to stay safe in and around pools and waterways.

“36 people tragically drowned in NSW waterways last summer, including 7 who drowned between Christmas and 2 January 2018,” said Mr O’Dea.

The Davidson electorate has secured $330,000 in funding for a total of 13 projects through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program.
