Federal and State Shadow Treasurers, The Hon Joe Hockey MP and Mike Baird MP, will speak at a special Business Breakfast hosted by Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea.

“The breakfast will provide a rare opportunity to hear first-hand, the views of the alternate treasurers for Australia and the State of NSW,” Mr O’Dea said.

“It is particularly timely, given the current world economic climate and the efforts domestically and overseas to address the economic downturn.

“In New South Wales, Labor’s record of financial miss-management has left many asking, ‘Where has all the money gone?’

“The question is particularly pertinent given the enormous financial windfall the State received from the introduction of the GST, which is collected by the Commonwealth but redistributed back to the states.

“The hospital system, the transport network and power are just some of the areas that are languishing for the lack of vision and competent management,” Mr O’Dea said.

The Business Breakfast will be held at The Union, University & Schools Club in Bent Street Sydney on March 27.

Tickets are $90 per head and are limited. Anyone wishing to attend should email Liberalbreakfast@mail.com

“I see the Breakfast as providing a rare opportunity for business and other community leaders to hear the alternate treasurers during a particularly challenging economic period, while also providing a fantastic networking opportunity,” Mr O’Dea concluded.
