Lindfield Learning Village

Another major milestone has been reached at Lindfield Learning Village, with the stage two construction contract being awarded to Hindmarsh Construction Australia Pty Ltd.

The site has now been established for stage two of the project with initial works to start once approval of the State Significant Development application is received.

The project will provide more learning spaces and a senior home base focusing on specialised expertise and wellness support. Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea said the school, once complete, will be a key education asset for the local community.

“This project will provide our children with the high-quality school facilities they deserve for a great education,” Mr O’Dea said.

“I’m delighted I’ve been able to work with the Education Minister and the NSW Government to ensure this project is delivered.”

The project has been built in stages to allow the school to grow and meet the needs of enrolments in the area.

Stage one of the project was completed in 2019 with new classrooms and upgrades to the theatre and sports hall.

Education Minister Sarah Mitchell said the Lindfield Learning Village was an example of the high-quality public school facilities the NSW Government was delivering.

“We’re building schools that give our students the resources they need to succeed in the 21st century,” Ms Mitchell said.

The NSW Government is investing $6.7 billion over four years to deliver more than 190 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. This is the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
