The Liberal Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea, says Labor’s “me-tooism” federally has spread to the NSW Lazy Labor Party.  

NSW Planning Minister Frank Sartor’s plan to take away Ku-ring-gai Council’s planning power for large developments is a blatant and undemocratic grab for power according to Jonathan O’Dea the Liberal Member for Davidson in his speech in NSW Parliament today. 

The Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority (SMCMA) is offering eligible individuals, schools and community groups grants to fund short term educational projects that provide for community participation in natural resource management or cultural awareness activities.

Jonathan O'Dea MP, Liberal for Davidson, is hosting a local forum for senior residents at the St Ives Community Hall on Friday 28 September from 10am to 11.30am. It will cover issues relevant to licensing of older drivers as well as NSW ageing strategy and service delivery. 

Jonathan O'Dea MP, the Member for Davidson, said he is encouraged by a response to his representations regarding the Blue Gum High Forest (BGHF) at St Ives being placed on the State Heritage Register. 

Community outrage at approval of a new gun shop at Roseville is a clear sign the Iemma Labor Government needs to regulate where gun shops are allowed to open within suburban areas, Shadow Minister for Planning Brad Hazzard and Liberal Member for Davidson Jonathan O’Dea said today.

Jonathan O'Dea MP, Liberal for Davidson, says the laws governing where a shop selling guns can be located are totally inadequate. This follows the recent approval through Ku-ring-gai Council of a “sporting goods” shop in Babbage Road Roseville Chase and complaints from constituents about the approval of the shop, which will sell guns and ammunition.

Today, Jonathan O'Dea MP, Liberal for Davidson, encouraged local not-for-profit organisations to nominate their most dedicated workers for the inaugural NSW Volunteer of the Year Award.

“This is a wonderful initiative to honour the contribution the 1.4 million volunteers make to NSW”, said Jonathan O’Dea.

Today, Jonathan O'Dea MP, Liberal for Davidson, was delighted to announce that “the Davidson Electorate Office appears to be the first political or electorate office anywhere in Australia to achieve the international standard of excellence.” 

Today, Jonathan O'Dea MP, Member for Davidson raised concerns about the explanations coming from RailCorp and the Minister for Transport. Following the discovery of yet another faulty and dangerous train carriage at Lindfield Station this week, Jonathan O'Dea claims that RailCorp is truly "off the rails".
